Eric Rud Expected to be announced as new head coach of Green Bay Gamblers

Not long ago, I commented on the possibility of assistant Husky Hockey Coach Eric Rud taking the head coaching position for the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers. Well, it is now being stated that he is expected to be announced as the new head coach tomorrow afternoon at a press conference. Rud was supposed to be starting his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Huskies in 2010-11. With the recent unfortunate news of David Eddy's ineligibility and now the loss of Eric, the Huskies have definitely taken some serious hits in the last couple days. However, Rud will have an awesome opportunity with the Green Bay Gamblers as head coach as they are coming off a great season last year winning the Clark Cup. Husky Hockey Time wishes him the best of luck in the future.

Any thoughts as to who will be his replacement?
